Service

What is the service contract fee?

For small residential customers, our service contract fee is currently $150.00 plus tax for one year.

What does the service contract cover?

The service contract covers the annual tune-up and boiler cleaning, as well as all parts that touch oil. It doesn’t cover anything that touches water, because we cannot guarantee the quality of your water. We can only guarantee the quality of our oil. For an exact list of parts and items covered, please call us today for a copy of one.

Do you perform the annual boiler inspections required by Local Law 91 of N.Y.C.?

Yes we do! Please contact us today to schedule an appointment. Currently, we charge $120.00 (plus tax) as well as the $30.00 due to NYC Department of Buildings.

Do you perform the triennial boiler inspections required by NYC Department of Environmental Protection?

Yes we do! Please contact us today to schedule an appointment. The fee for the service varies on the boiler type and size.

Do I need to perform boiler cleaning and tune-up annually?

It is not necessary, but it is recommended for increased efficiency of your oil burner. Included in the tune-up is also the check of proper operation of pressure controls, therefore you should really never “skip” your tune-up.

When do you perform boiler cleanings and tune-ups?

We perform boiler cleanings and tune-ups starting from May 1st  and August 31st. Please call us to schedule an appointment in advance.

Why is my boiler burning so much oil?

There may be a few reasons why your boiler is burning too much oil listed below:

  • The thermostat may be too high.
  • The nozzle may be small and doesn’t create enough pressure.
  • The boiler may be undersized or even there may be a hole on top of your boiler.
  • The boiler may have hot water leaks.
  • For further assistance give us a call and our representatives will gladly assist you.

Do you perform boiler installations?

Yes we do! Our master technicians will recommend the product and the right equipment that best suits your individual needs. We will gladly provide you with a free estimate and assist you in any kind of work that you may need to complete.

What can I do if my oil burner fails to operate?

  1. Be sure that the oil burner switch is on.
  2. Check that thermostat is set above room temperature.
  3. Make sure there is oil in the tank.
  4. Make sure there is water in the boiler.
  5. Press re-set button on relay once only!
  6. If burner does not run at all, check for blown or loose fuse.

If burner still fails to operate, do nothing more but immediately call us for service.
