How frequently do I need to call for an oil delivery?

We recommend that you check your tank gauge at least once a week just to see how much oil is still remaining. Throughout the winter season, it’s cold and you burn more oil, therefore more frequent deliveries are necessary.

How much oil do I burn annually?

The oil usage depends on various factors such as the weather temperature, size of your tank, thermostat settings, as well as whether you use the oil just for heat and/or hot water. 

How often will I receive oil when I am on automatic delivery?

We always schedule a delivery based on Degree-Days (NEVER on price). Our computerized delivery system estimates how much oil your house burns depending on the outside temperature.

Do I need to stay at home while the oil is being delivered?

No. Only if you are scheduled to pay Cash On Delivery.

What is the price of the oil today?

For today’s oil price, we kindly ask our customers to contact us during business hours. The oil price can fluctuate daily, hourly, or even within minutes. For this reason, we can only determine the price at the time you call. 

What kind of oil contracts do you offer?

We offer two kinds contracts from which our customers may choose to best protect their price during the heating season and enjoy substantial savings. Fixed price contracts lock a pre-set price for the entire heating season. Capped price contracts, include a prepaid insurance fee and guarantee that if the market price drops below the “cap”, you will be paying the lower price. Otherwise, if the price increases or stays the same, your rate will not exceed the pre-set price. 

How can I find out how much oil is in my tank?

Very simple! Just check your gauge. The ratings on your tank, ¼, ½, or ¾ show exactly how much oil you have.

What is the difference between Will-Call and Automatic deliveries?

On Will-Call deliveries, our customers must call to schedule a delivery.

Automatic deliveries are hassle-free. Our customers don’t need to worry whether they will run out of oil. Our computerized Degree-Day system calculates approximately when it is time for us to deliver oil.

What do I do if I run out of oil?

If you run out of oil, please contact us and we will deliver oil to you A.S.A.P.
